LAB010A: boys be kko - Pico (Nick Castle Remix)
Nick Castle's Pico remix is the debut release from the mastermind behind the now globally recognised Labyrinth event series. Having been the resident of Labyrinth for the past 6 years, his DJing has seen him share bills with the likes of Fred again..., Jungle, Keinemusik, Carlita, Adriatique and Dixon, a booking on the Printworks Closing party and overseas bookings in Gibraltar, Belgium, Scotland and Andorra already.
It's only fitting that he now ventures into his solo career with his first release, which is a remix of boys be kko - Pico, a track he A&Red himself for Labyrinth Records after being sent it by boys be kko as new material Nick could play when opening for Keinemusik at Troxy.
The remix is Nick’s interpretation of the original track, which is heavily influenced by many years spent in South Africa. The artwork pays homage to that, with its combination of the Japanese garden from the original EP adapted with the South African night's sky.
