LAB006: boys be kko - Monnaka EP
Eccentric Japanese producer, boys be kko, is known for his larger-than-life persona. Whether it be within the artwork that accompanies his music, or during his hardware only live performances in Tokyo, he consistently keeps his fans on their toes by delivering the unexpected. Such enigmatic traits instantly caught our attention at Labyrinth Records, but more so, it was the hard-hitting nature of kko’s music which really sold us upon the idea of signing such a talent. As such, we’re proud to present ‘Monnaka’, the three track EP from boys be kko, which marks Labyrinth's sixth release.
Throughout the EP, the artist presents his unique take on deep house, in a distinctly left-field manner. Merging the uniquely eastern electronic sounds of his homeland alongside contemporary European rave sounds, the result is addictive and born for the dancefloor.
